Important information for spectators
Before you buy a ticket to watch the 46th FIDE Chess Olympiad, please read the information below.
Entering the playing hall and watching
Entry times for spectators
- 15:00–15:15 — mobile phones may be used.
- 15:00–17:00 — the time set for entering the spectator area.
Important: once spectators have left the spectator area, they may come back in only between 15:00 and 17:00.
- In the playing hall, spectators watch the games standing.
- Entry to the hall in each time slot may be restricted because of capacity limits. The number of tickets is limited for each viewing time.
- Until 15:15 you may enter the playing hall with a mobile phone.
- After 15:15 mobile phones are not allowed into the playing hall. Spectators must leave the hall, take their phones out and then come back in without them.
- When you come back into the playing hall, you must follow the security rules and procedures in place.
Exhibition hall and interactive areas
Besides the playing hall, ticket holders also have access to the exhibition hall.
In the exhibition area, ticket holders can:
- take part in workshops
- join in at the fan zones
- take part in exhibitions and other interactive events
Proof of identity
When you enter the event, you must have an ID card or passport with you as well as your ticket.
The details on your ticket must match those on your identity document.
Reduced price for local spectators
Citizens of Uzbekistan or permanent residents of Uzbekistan can buy tickets at a reduced price.
To get it, sign in to the site with OneID. Once OneID has confirmed your identity, the ticket price for local spectators is applied automatically.
